This is rich and waxy with notes of ripe stone fruit, baked apples, beeswax and apricot pie. Full and creamy with vivid acidity and a hint of salted caramel. Rich and layered fruit character. Drink or hold.
COLLIO PINOT BIANCO RISERVA 2020 RUSSIZ SUPERIORE – 91 points
Cream and vanilla notes here, with peach and a touch of banoffee pie. Lots of sweet oak spice to go with the buttery palate. Powerful, with good acidity to balance. Drink now or try in 2024.
COLLIO PINOT GRIGIO MONGRIS RISERVA 2019 MARCO FELLUGA – 91 points
Rich and intense white with aromas of grilled nuts, chamomile, cedar and roasted peach. It’s toasty and full-bodied with firm and concentrated layers. Smoky, phenolic and persistent. Drink or hold.
COLLIO SAUVIGNON RISERVA 2020 RUSSIZ SUPERIORE – 91 points
Some green beans on the nose, mingling with chopped apples and fennel. Crisp and crunchy with medium to full body and a flavorful, green-fruited and lightly spicy finish. Drink now.
