The prestigious magazine describes Pinot Grigios from Friuli Venezia Giulia as follows:
“Oak plays more of a roll in Friuli. With its generally lower vineyard elevations (up to about 750 feet) and its exposure to the Adriatic, Friuli’s Pinot Grigios tend to be more medium-bodied and concentrated, though still minerally and fresh.”
